During our our closure we regret we cannot respond to queries, provide quotes or accept instructions to arrange insurance covers, however we do understand that unfortunately the holiday season provides no exemption to claims events and things happen, so we have put some contingency arrangements in place to support our clients.

If a claim has occurred and you are unable to contact the insurer directly and emergency repairs are required or an urgent insurer assessment required please contact your local ACTION Office and follow the prompts to access contact with our emergency claims response service (please note this service is for urgent or emergency claims notification only). If you lodge a claim directly with your Insurer or have contacted emergency services, we ask you to also notify your Advisor or our claims team of this. This will ensure our team are notified of the claim the next business day to avoid delays and ensure the claim progresses as quickly as possible.
Top tips when a loss occurs:
- It is your responsibility as a policy holder not to admit fault, liability or offer/agree to settle any claim without consent from your Insurer.
- You must not authorise repair or replacement without consent from your Insurer, unless for safety reasons or to minimise or prevent further loss or damage.
- Obtain Third Party details, including Name, Address, Phone Number, their insurance details, vehicle details if necessary.
- Where safe to do so, take photos or videos.
- Make detailed notes of what occurred as soon as possible while fresh in your mind.
- Keep record and receipts of all emergency repairs and costs.
- Report to police if necessary.
